Branson Missouri Attractions

Editor’s note (September 2026): This is a firsthand account from a 2015 Branson family trip. We rechecked the major attractions named below in September 2026: Hollywood Wax Museum, Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors, Shoot for the Stars Mini-Golf, Branson Landing and Shepherd of the Hills are still operating. Ticket packages, ride rules and attraction lineups change, so treat the specifics below as a snapshot of our 2015 visit and check current official information before going.

The Branson shows kept us busy at night and there were plenty of attractions during the day.

Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center

Using an All Access Pass on our 2015 trip, we visited the Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, including the Hollywood Wax Museum, Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors and Shoot for the Stars Mini-Golf. They were all close together, which made it easy to do them in one day without constantly getting back into Branson traffic.

The Hollywood Wax Museum celebrities were very realistic looking. Sometimes I’ve gone to wax museums where you can’t even tell who you are looking at; I did not have that problem here. One of the best parts was the props near the figures, which made picture taking more fun.

My daughter could have spent all day at Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors, and if I didn’t continually bump into myself I would have stayed longer. Hannah’s was not just a simple maze: the attraction built a story around rescuing Princess Hannah. Shoot for the Stars Mini-Golf was a fun course for novices to adults, with Marty McBooster acting as the wisecracking agent at each hole. Those core attraction concepts are still part of the current complex in 2026.

Branson Landing

Branson Landing was our shopping, dining and entertainment stop near historic Branson. We enjoyed the fountain shows, then discovered Parakeet Pete’s attraction over Lake Taneycomo. The original article described the ride package and unlimited bracelet exactly as we experienced them in 2015; do not assume those old ticket terms are current.

Shepherd of the Hills

We spent an entire day at Shepherd of the Hills taking in the scenery and activities. The destination is centered around Harold Bell Wright’s novel The Shepherd of the Hills.

On that 2015 trip, we city slickers took a trail ride through the Ozark Hills and visited the historic homestead. We also rode the glass elevator up Inspiration Tower, which remains a 230-foot landmark with an enclosed observation deck. The Vigilante Extreme ZipRider also still launches from the tower, although current requirements and reservations should be checked directly before visiting.
