Chocolate-covered strawberries, cheesecake and brownies are working with a substantial structural advantage.
I liked the treats. Nobody needs six paragraphs of me discovering that strawberries covered in chocolate are pleasant.
The Delivery Driver Put the Boxes Somewhere Thoughtful
What stuck with me was the drop-off.
The driver placed the boxes on a small chair by the porch rather than dropping them on the ground. It was a tiny decision, which is exactly why it stood out.
Then He Called
He called when he arrived so I knew the delivery was outside.
That matters more with a food gift than it does with a package containing, say, printer paper. Chocolate has opinions about weather.
He Waited Until I Got the Package
The driver did not just complete the drop-off and vanish. He waited long enough to make sure I actually retrieved it.
Again: not revolutionary technology. Just a person paying attention.

This particular Edible Arrangements delivery was memorable because somebody treated the delivery itself as part of the gift.
I cannot promise every driver at every location will do the same thing, and I am not turning one good experience into a universal corporate law.
But this one was excellent.
